    Over ten years ago, St Timothy’s revived the medieval tradition of the Boy Bishop. It is a dramatic example of the hope of Our Lady’s Magnificat, where she proclaimed that the fruit of her womb would “put down the mighty from their seat, and (will exalt) the humble and meek.”

    Another medieval tradition revived at St Timothy’s, a teenage girl is crowned with lighted candles and leads the procession through Ardmore symbolizing the light that has come into the darkness: Jesus Christ.

    A pre-dawn mass in the dark, this votive for the Virgin Mary is a traditional and moving mass without artificial light to help us focus on the coming light of Jesus Christ.
