DOK Angel Tree

In honor of Advent, Daughters of the King is hosting an angel tree in support of our shelter. Located downstairs in the hallway that leads out to ECW and Drake Hall, we encourage you to pick up an ornament with a specific need. Please place the item (gift card or donation for monitor bonus or sweatshirt) in the decorated box in the Narthex by December 20. 

Many of the ornaments focus on our monitors, who ensure that our guests are cared for overnight. Many of our monitors have their own experience with homelessness and they are uniquely qualified to do this job, which can be very challenging. Supporting our monitors means we can keep our doors open to the most vulnerable women in our community while also providing employment opportunities to low-income women.
