Music for January 5

The choral anthem for the Second Sunday after Christmas is “What sweeter music” by Ralph Vaughan Williams and arranged by Mark Schweizer. The tune Linden Lea is paired with a lovely text by Robert Herrick that begins, “What sweeter music can we bring than a carol for to sing the birth of this our heav'nly King? We see him come, and know him ours, who with his sunshine and his showers turns all the patient ground to flowers.”
