Music for November 2, 2025

Our choral anthem for Sunday’s External Solemnity of All Saints is “O Thou, Whose All-Redeeming Might,” a setting of a plainsong melody by English composer David Blackwell (b. 1961). The text begins: “O Thou whose all-redeeming might crowns every saint in glory bright, on this commemoration day, hear us, good Jesu, while we pray.” Please also join us on Monday for our Requiem Mass for All Souls at 6pm. A men’s choir will sing the plainchant setting from the Liber Usualis.
