New Adult Formation Opportunities

Fr Steve will lead three different adult formation opportunities in September

  • Wednesday Lectionary Study at 10:30am in the ECW Hall

  • Wednesday Theological Formation at 6pm in the ECW Hall

    • 9/9 - the Sign of the Cross, why the Cross is the symbol of Christianity

    • 9/16 - Shrines, Statues, and Saints: Why Devotion Matters

    • 9/23 - What makes a Person? Reflections on AI and the Christian understanding of personhood

    • 9/30 - How many angels can dance on the head of a pin? Discussion on the nature and role of angels

  • Sundays in September, Fr Steve will present three lectures for those interested in more complex theological issues. In two weeks, Fr Steve will finish a MA in Theology from St Stephen’s House, Oxford. He used this degree to reflect on complex theological issues facing the church, but from a new perspective.  He will present three of his major papers and dissertation after E & B on Sundays in the ECW Hall.

    • 9/20 - Issues surrounding the sacraments of Marriage and Ordination

    • 9/27 - The iconography of the Body
