Proverbs 9:1-6
“Wisdom has built her house,
she has set up her seven pillars.She has slaughtered her beasts, she has mixed her wine,

from the highest places in the town,“Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!”
To him who is without sense she says,“Come, eat of my bread
and drink of the wine I have mixed.Leave simpleness, and live,
and walk in the way of insight.”How are you involved in the life of our parish?
I have served as a chaperone on the youth Veram Vitam trip and other youth outings. I serve as an Usher at 11:00 Mass.

How long have you been at St. Timothy’s?
I have been a member of St. Timothy's for more than 10 years.
What is your favorite liturgical feast?
Palm Sunday since it is the beginning of Holy Week and commemorates Jesus' entry into Jerusalem. It is unique in that it mixes two contrasting themes: joyful celebration and the suffering of Christ.
Which passage of Scripture have you found impactful recently?
Isaiah 41:10:
"Fear not, for I am with you;
be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."It's a reminder that no matter how stressful things can get God's presence is there for you.
How are you involved in the life of our parish?
I am involved in the Society of St. Joseph of Arimathea taking care of the Graveyard and serving as one of the grave diggers. I was a proud member of the Parkway Padres Softball team. Oralia and I also serve with the Guild of Alcuin as Greeters/Ushers at the 9AM mass.

I was confirmed here in 1995 (30 years!)
What is your favorite liturgical feast?
I love the season of Advent, with the Incarnation of Our Lord Jesus Christ being my favorite liturgy.
Which passage of Scripture have you found impactful recently?
Romans 8:38-39 says, "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels nor demons, nor the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God.
How are you involved in the life of our parish?
I am most occupied with serving at the altar, both at the daily mass and on Sunday’s. I also serve behind the scenes on the Altar Guild.

How long have you been at St. Timothy’s?
I first visited St. Timothy's in 2019 while searching for a church that felt like the right fit for me and my son. From the initial service, there was a warm and welcoming atmosphere that stood out to us both. We enjoyed the services so much we started attending every Sunday! Not long after that my dad began to join us. Ever since St. Timothy's has been a significant part of our lives and our weekly routine.
What is your favorite liturgical feast?
Palm Sunday is my favorite feast. Marking the beginning of Holy Week, it is a powerful reminder for Christians to open their hearts and lives to Jesus.
Which passage of Scripture have you found impactful recently?
Psalm 121:2-3 "My help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip or to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber."
How are you involved in the life of our parish?
Over the years I have enjoyed the fellowship and learning opportunities offered at St. Timothy's. From glass after mass, bible studies, volunteering at the overflow shelter and even playing softball I am grateful for every chance I've had to grow and learn. The most amazing experience of my life was the attending pilgrimage to Israel with my son in 2022. I am truly thankful to be part of a church that offers such enriching ways to grow in faith and connect with my church family.
