Passing Through?
Welcome to the parish grounds at St Timothy’s Episcopal Church. The church is usually open between 8am-5pm for prayer. You are welcome to sit, light a candle, and pray. Some things of note around the grounds:
The Society of St Joseph of Arimathea Cemetery is a children’s cemetery for the Society of St Joseph of Arimathea. There are over 800 children buried here. It is an inviting and holy space. You are most welcome to visit and we thank you for preserving the sanctity of those grounds.
There is also a walking trail for the Holy Rosary. More resources on how to walk and pray will be available in the coming weeks.
The Outdoor Chapel once served as the summer worship space before air conditioning. It is still a natural refuge for prayer and reflection.
If you see Winston-Salem Police cars in the parking lot, do not be alarmed. For nearly a decade, St Timothy’s has provided 24/7 access to our buildings for the officers for snacks and restrooms. We are pleased our officers are a constant presence and we are grateful for their service and friendship.
