January 28 Schedule Changes

Parkway Drive and the St Timothy’s parking lots are still frozen over. Fr Luke and I have been able to come and say mass, but it really isn’t appropriate for a full day of Wednesday activities. There are too many places (sidewalks, steps, etc.) that are still frozen and slick. Many thanks to John Rak for shoveling and salting, which has made a difference.

Other than the 9am mass on Wednesday, all other events/liturgies for January 28 are canceled (the lectionary study, noon mass, rosary, youth, choir, and adult formation).

St Timothy’s has not, however, closed. The shelter has been open since Saturday night. What a heroic effort by Kristen Machado, Ashley Robbins, and their entire team! Our guests are warm, fed, and grateful for the shelter. Prayers for our community, nation, and the world continue to be united with Christ’s Sacrifice on the Cross through the daily mass. We were able to have a low mass on Sunday, with a good number of those in attendance having walked to church!
